Thanks for the reply.  I'm fairly new to Perl.  I have 2 more questions.
1.  How do you specify the size you want to make the partition instead of
using the entire disk?
2.  How do you get  / install the FileOp module?  I can't seem to find it
for activestate's active perl.

        use Win32::FileOp; # http://Jenda.Krynicky.cz
        SubstDev 'e:', 'HarddiskVolume1'

P.S.: Make sure you do NOT UnSubst or re Subst a drive that 
contains files that are being used (like the disk where you have 
your WinNT directory for example) !
