Title: RE: Querying Service Pack

About that utility, I have been messing around with it, trying to parse the output to create a custom Hotfix update batch file with qchain (Article ID: Q296861)

. I was curious if there was any easier way, or if someone has already done something like that.

Use Microsoft's HFNetChk utility.

Has anyone found a way to tell if a server has SP6 or SP6a on it?  I
inherited a bunch of servers and the old sysadmin said he'd loaded SP6a,
but I want to make sure.
