The attached is the script I have been testing to get listing of remote shares and permissions. It works well in returning permissions, but, if the permissions are granted to a non local account or group, the name/group is not listed.
I have not found the fix for that yet.
run the script with the remote server's name or ip address as argument.
I will print to screen and produce an HTML file with the table of information.
This is 1 sub routine of the larger server assessment tool I use and constantly add to that provides information on our servers.

I'm trying to write a perl script that gets a list of shares on a remote
machine and displays the share permissions. I can get the list of shares,
but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to get the permissions.
