In Win2k, is there a way to change the NTFS file permissions of a file to inherit from the parent without using the GUI? I know how to set the permissions directly on the file or directory with tools like xcacls.exe, but how can I turn on the "Allow inheritable permissions from parent to propagate to this object" option? I'd prefer to do it in a perl script, but calling an external utility is ok, too.
