Error using File::Copy within a script executed by 2000's Scheduler

I am currently trying to copy an Access MDB file from a mapped network drive using the 
copy method from the FILE::COPY module.  The Perl script executes cleanly from command 
line.  The perl scripts also executes correctly when I call it from a Batch Script.  
The error occurs when I schedule the Batch script within 2000 scheduler.  Im capturing 
the error via an IF statement that validates a return code that I populate from the 
copy method call.  Im out of ideas here, please help!  Let me know if you need more
