If you use PerlApp from the PDK, you will not be able to view the source
using notepad, etc. If someone was really industrious they might be able to
get it, but regular users won't be able to.

Subject: Distributing Perl Applications

Hi ,

A very basic question ....

What are the available options to distribute an application created in Perl.
I would like to achieve the following
1. Not expose the source code.
2. Make the application such that it can run on any machine with or w/o perl
installed.

One option which I am looking at is to use PDK to create an exe out of the
perl script.
Is there any way to view the perl code from an exe compiled using
perlexe.(frm PDK)

What are the other possible options. Any help in this matter will be
definitely appreciated.

Cheers
Neeraj
