It sounds like your code is not recognizing the start message and responding to it accordingly. Post your code.

I was able to install the service but everytime I try and start it, I get an error of "The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion." I'm using the simple sample found in Dave Roth's book. Has anyone else encountered this? I've been racking my brain for the past 2 days with no luck. thanks Chuck _______________________________________________ Perl-Win32-Admin mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs _______________________________________________ Perl-Win32-Admin mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs
