I have an activestate perl installation in which ppm no longer runs. It returns an error...
Failed to load PPM_DAT file Can't use an undefined value as a SCALAR reference at d:/Perl/site/lib/PPM.pm li ne 1586, <DATA> line 36. When I try to "change" the installation from the add/remove programs to see if maybe it can be fixed, I get the following error in a pop up box and the installation process stops. Installer Information ! The folder path 'Windows Script Host' contains an invalid character. Fatal error during installation. I am running windows 2000 and haven't tried using ppm in a long while so I'm not quite sure what might have caused this problem. Thanks for any help.
