Hi List
I am currently on working on a project for tracking print jobs. The current implementation is that as suggested, I scan eventlog for printjobs, and get the number of pages printed from the message string.
This fails, when I am talking about either of the following:
* Print Server not present - Network Printer Scenario.
* To audit print jobs fired by Non-Win32 apps, like DOS-based etc.
Has anyone worked on directly monitoring print jobs on a network printer, or monitoring the Print Spooler directly.
I am currenly using HP 8000N Printers.
Looking forward
Regards
Yogi
