Hi All

As a initiative to cut down on the power and storage costs, I am working on a computer management script which would perform certain maintenance tasks,

The last bit is as follows:

- Run at 00:00 hrs, all the computers which are on, should be powered out.

The problem, which I am facing is that, certain people, work in night shifts, so, how to make sure, that when I am shutting down the computers, the active users are not affected.

The ideal solution would be a way, if a user is logged in and IS ACTIVELY working on the computer, should be skipped. Like, in a case, someone would have logged in, locked the machine, and left for the day.

So, I am looking for a sureshot way, that would tell me, whether a user is active on a computer or not, perferable without user interaction.

Looking Forward

Regards

Yogi
