Hello, Without testing any code or anything, I'll make an educated guess that these servers may possibly be NT servers that participate in a domain?
If that is the case, then the server will likely reject all/certain attempts to create or work with the local groups... I had a similar problem getting the 2002 FrontPage extensions to run on an NT server...
