I think that if you poke around in WMI for a while you will find the
idle timer...

Subject: Idle Users

Greetings,
I have received a tasking to automatically log a user off the
local area network if the workstation is inactive for a period of 8
hours. This is an Active Directory (Win 2000) domain. Any suggestions
where to start.
I know that there is a timer/counter on the workstations that the screen
saver uses, but how does one access it. I know that there is a WinExit
Screen Saver that will start a countdown. But the policy locally is to
have a screen saver that activates in 10 minutes of idle time. Is it
possible to run 2 screen savers?

Thank you in advance.
