Hi, found the sample I referred to in my earlier mail. It's C++, but this one does not require the TCB privilege (neither active nor at all) to work:

Maybe it's the best idea to put this into a DLL and call the DLL from Perl - alternatively it would perhaps be possible to convert the complete code to Perl.
