Why couldn't you use pkzip/pkunzip? I've used the Winzip command line before and it isn't as consistent as pkzip....And its free!!!

You could find a copy of the old DOS exe (PKZ204G.EXE) if this is really a need and read up on the command-line options to pass to it.
