I'm enjoying that thrill of moving everything from my old machine to a new machine. At the current rate it'll take me 10 years of faster computing to make up for all the time wasted reconfiguring the new machine. Ok, enough of that and on to the problem.
I'm getting an event log message saying "PerlSock.dll was unable to load C:\Perl\bin\Perl56.dll". Now that's not too surprising since I'm running 5.8 and there is no Perl56.dll but there is a Perl58.dll. But how do I convince whoever is calling the wrong thing to call the right thing?
Do you run a perl based service on your machine?
