The various Crypt modules should help...

Different algorhythms in different moduels.

If they aren't installed by default, you should be able to get them from

Subject: Encrypt

Hi All:

I am doing research for a project that I will need to encrypt a string.

After the string is encrypted it is sent in a file and then received on
another system, all of which I believe not to matter to this discussion.

Once the file is received, it will be opened and then I will need to
decrypt the string.

I would like to do this in Perl of course, but I have not been able to
find any viable options.

Has any one dealt with this? Used a module? Have a script?

Any help would be awesome...

Thankx
