Some more commits, bring the CVS repository up to date with my local copy.
For this set of changes I'm particularly interested in whether I've
broken the '-prompt' option to Textfield, or indeed anything else in
the Textfield constructor. So, so if you have any scripts that use
Textfields, please run them up and let me know how you get on (and
whether you use the -prompt option or not).
