Being new to the list, all I have to say is
Being old to the list, and in general, to the Net and communities created by mailing lists, I've got to chuckle a bit at how you'd make a snap decision like that. I've been on the list for about a year, nearing two. The ratio of genuine excellent help, compared to "haven't had my coffee yet" idiocy is surprisingly low. If you leave now, your loss, not ours.
