Hi,
Aldo? Still there?
While lots of bugs were reported too shortly before Easter for me to
expect an Easter release to actually happen, I'm curious to know if any
progress is being made on any of the bugs, and if there actually will be
a new release of Win32-GUI in the near future?
I'm about to start a new project (next week), and need to make the
decision about whether to (1) Use the new Win32-GUI release (2) hack up
the old Win32-GUI to fix the bugs I care about (3) write a (probably
less functional) replacement for Win32-GUI containing only the features
I need for my project, or (4) figure out how to use Win32-GUI for dialog
windows, and some other code for my main window.
In particular, I need to be able to react to keystrokes regardless of
the focus of the mouse within my main window.... accelerator keys, I
guess it is called.
Johan? Are you there?
Does The GUI Loft cure the lack of accelerator keys? Or is is just
stuck not being able to use them because of the lack of support in
Win32-GUI?
Anyone? any other comments on the current state of development? A few
others have signed up as developers and/or documenters, so if you have
additional insights that I'm missing, fill me in please.
Thanks!
