On approximately 8/2/2004 3:34 PM, came the following characters from
the keyboard of Eric Hansen:
Does anyone know if ListBoxes have a 57 item maximum in order
To function correctly?
I think there is probably a bug somewhere, not a 57 item maximum.
Unless you tell me you are running on Win9x, and each item you add is
about 1K in size, then I'd wonder if you hit a 64KB maximum content size
or some such thing... Win9x is full of that sort of limit. Sometimes
the limit is even 32KB.
Should I be presenting my question to this group, or would I be better off
Sending an email to John F. Kerry for him to discuss my problem with his
wife?
I'm pretty sure this is the right group to ask, but it would be fine to
see if John F. Kerry would discuss your problem with his wife, as well.
Parallel processing sometimes produces results faster.
So might reducing your program to a test program that demonstrates the
failure, and sharing it with the list.
Speaking of Windows, I wonder if you are seeing this on Windows XP?
I've seen some pretty strange crashes on Windows XP with programs that
work just fine on Windows 2000.
