Ok, got it figured out. I tried on a few other computers in the office and it was fine. I'm using TextPad and have a macro set up to run Perl and pass it the current file as a parameter. That's how I was running it and the window doesn't show up doing it this way. If I run it from a command line, it works fine though. thanks --Dan
