Patching?

I always use NSIS (Nullsoft) as default method to deploy
perl-Win32-GUI executables, created by par and perl2exe.
Small, easy and fast.
The problem is par and perl2exe, not the installer.

For example --gui apps which want to write STDERR to the parent console,
if such a beast exists.
