I've added a simple tutorial for creating a skin app on http://www.millham.net/perlskin
If you follow the tutorial, you will notice that if you right click on the skin that you see an error. I've fixed the problem, but I haven't created a new package yet with the fix. I'm going to create a few more tutorials (and include the code in the package) before I release another update.
