ActiveState Perl v5.8.6
Uninstalled:
Win32::GUI
Win32::GUI::Dibitmap
Win32::GUI::AxWindow
Installed new ppd file.
On first run of my code, I get this error:
"The procedure entry point PL_memory_wrap could not be located in the
dynamic link library perl58.dll"
http://www.syn-ack.com/PL_memory_wrap.png
And it aborts. I had this before when I ran a newer version of
ActiveState perl (v5.8.7 at the time), it ran fine from perl
<source>.pl, but this error popped up when i created an EXE via pp/par.
Now the error happens when running perl source directly.
I`ll remove my perl install, grab the latest one (v5.8.8.817), and test
again. If this error happens running the perl code and/or via pp/par
EXEs, then i`ll have to go back to my old verion of everything.
More news later

Hi all,
I'm looking for beta testers for a 1.04 release (finally :-P).
The beta release is labelled v1.03_04, and is available for download
from http://www.robmay.me.uk/win32gui/.
Release Notes and a Perl 5.8 PPM are linked at the bottom of the page.
Please download and give it a spin. Feedback to the users list
(perl-win32-gui-users@lists.sourceforge.net), please.
I'm particularly interested in feedback on
- the ReleaseNotes (that will also get installed with the html
documentation)
- any backwards compatibility issues.
- anything that worked before any doesn't now
- if, following installation, typing 'win32-gui-demos' at your command
prompt works for you, and the UI is understandable.
There's a lot of new stuff, so make sure you read the release notes.
I'll not be very active for the next few weeks, but will catch up after
that. Enjoy!
Did I say to make sure you read the release notes? They're online at
http://www.robmay.me.uk/win32gui/RELEASENOTES.TXT
Regards,
Rob.
