BTW, I just created a new project on sourceforge for my Win32::GUI::Skin
module.  It's currently pending approval.

Very nice.  There's plenty of alternatives for displaying the image 
(e.g. drawing it directly into the DC), but this shows all the important 
steps.   I have a policy (open for discussion, of course) of not 
distributing samples that require modules not distributed with 
ActiveState Perl or Win32::GUI itself, as I think the samples we 
distribute should run 'out of the box'.

This is, however, exactly the sort of sample that I'd like to see on the 
Wiki - http://perl-win32-gui.sourceforge.net/wiki/
