I'm not new to either Java (though I haven't programmed in it in a while) or Perl. In fact, I've programmed in Tk and Win32::GUI before.
However, one of the most difficult things is getting documentation on what's available in Win32::GUI and how to use it. I recently started writing an app using Win32::GUI and opted to use a ListView. I had an incredible amount of trouble locating anything that would help me with adding entries to/retrieving entries from a multi-column ListView. I finally found some code that gave me some ideas for experimenting, and I eventually got something working. I know it's a huge endeavor to write documentation, but there are ways to provide examples that perclude full-out docs. Post the code to perlmonks or to Dave Roth's forum, or post it yourself and send in a link.
