Beats me. All I know is that PPM> search WIN32API-File didn't come up with
the goods and 522 did.

I really liked the installer (even some of the code had comments in :) ).

I would still like a nice generic listbox though - one which has headers and
is just a flat list of fields (I've got the basic idea but I don't know how
to add items to the list and order them when clicking on the header bars).

Anyone know if there's going to be a documentation 'bow-wave' (management
speak at my last comapny) - to answer Lyndon's question. A lot of it has
TBD's but seem to work if you know the innards.

Another daft question - does anyone invisage this Win32::GUI ever being
called "Visual Perl" and finding it's way in shrink-wrapped boxes to my
local computer store??

I use 519 and the install program worked for me. So what's up with that?

Robert R et al,

When trying the GUI Install program (Dialog Phase) I couldn't find
Win32API-File. I tried a ppm search on ActiveState and it wasn't there.

So, just out of curiosity I looked for the latest version of ActivePerl on
the ActiveState website and lo! there was a newer version available - I had
519 and now there's a 522 (as an updater exe from 515 onwards).

I installed the new version and guess what? There was Win32API-File.

Odd that, I thought _all_ stuff was in the AS repository.

Hope this helps y'all :)

Andy.
