I'm basing this on the (admittedly imperfect) observation that most of the
scripts that I write for my GS port won't run on a base AS install due to
missing modules.  Unfortunately, I can no longer find a GS install to do a
comparison (perl.com only points to AS now).

Also, I had one script that I had to modify because the AS port dealt with
file read/writes (built-in functions) differently than the GS port did.

But, I'm not here to argue.  Over time, I may have installed a lot of
modules into my GS port -- I don't keep track, so I could very well be
wrong.

More modules pre-installed, but we've been over that. I'll concede that I'm
probably incorrect.

This is likely since I'm not a big fan of C (anymore), and I'm more used to
compiling and installing modules on unix systems.  I do have visual studio
98 installed -- I'll poke around in there.
