Okay,
I've updated the pages (attached). -Included Tim's new info. There's no
way you guys can trust me to be a responsible maintainer... So, I pass
the buck ;). -Sounds like Matt Sousley is willing to pick up the ball
and run with it.
I made extensive use of comments in the HTML. Each comment block which
represents structure is (should be) identical. The comment blocks for
unique content are of course different. The idea was to flush out a
structure so that it could later be code generated. I.e. store the
actual content in a database, and have a perl script write the web pages
whenever the data changed...
The following comment blocks exist:
Left Column
Main Column
Right Column
Index
Index Item
Category
Category Header
Category Synopsis
Category Timestamp
Category Summary
Category Detail
All the Index... and Category blocks have a unique identifier appended
to the end, followed by either Start or End. Example:
<!-- Category Synopsis News Start -->
<!-- Category Timestamp Start -->
Jan. 4, 2000
<!-- Category Timestamp End -->
<!-- Category Summary Start -->
New Website!
<!-- Category Summary End -->
<!-- Category Synopsis News End -->
