My solution: Put the html documention in a webfolder on your NT/IIS4 box,
then perform searches via the Index Server.

if I used an external search engine on it-- something that would do a global

I had one of those "Duh, why didn't I think of that?" reactions on reading
his comment.

So what are people using for this? Has anyone got a favorite browser based
tool for this kind of thing?
