has anybody out there tried using Nmake to install a module?
i tried typing the procedure below coz i wanted to update my modules to the
latest version: btw, i'm using perl 5.6 binary build from activestate.
perl makefile.pl
nmake
nmake test
nmake install
after doing this, it seems like i got all my installation messed up. those
scripts that used to run before stopped running and giving me all kinds of
error message pointing to the modules required.
any tips on how to use nmake? i can't seem to use ppm properly. it's giving
all sorts of error messages! very frustrating!!!
