Mo,

I have a couple of problems (and more) ...

I have NT4 and I don't have IIS on my computer (ISAPI ???) and what was
that PerlScript host ... (?) Activex, no, I don't know ... and I don't
have MS installer ... and I don't know much about Windows at all ...

when I run install.bat, it complains about ppm.xml that permission denied,
though I was logged as administrator.

ActivePerl 5.6.1 works fine itself, but when I try to use ppm, install DBI
and etc. there is always phrase " Error installing package 'DBI': Read PPD
for 'DBI', but it is not intended for this duild of Perl
<MSwin32-x86-multi-thread>"

So, it won't work ...

Is it even possible to work (ppm) if I don't have all equipment available
(for some spesific reasons) that were mentioned in requirement list ...

My purpose for this is to get connection to MSAccess with Perl scripts
and staff ...

Meanwhile I must try nmake ...

Thanks allready and sorry to bother you with simple problems .. that I
ought to know ...

-lasse-> doesn't like windows ...

"Vi kommer alltid att d, aldrig att leva"
