Hello,

So Visual Perl. What's that all about then?
Is it simply a GUI interface into Perl/TK?

Or is it something more?

I'm trying to weigh up the pros and cons of investing in the activestate
Perl Dev Kit and purchasing a License so I can use all features of the
PerlApp and PerlMSI, or would I be better splishsplashing out a little more
and getting the Visual Perl plugin for Microsoft's visual Studio .NET.

Have any of you used The Visual Perl plugin?

At the end of the day I need a reliable method of creating stand alone
Installations of compiled Code to use on multiple windows platforms.

I realise the cost is a huge difference between Visual Perl and Perl/Tk, but
If the cost wasn't important, then which would be the most useful?

Marty
