hello, I am a beginner in perl on win32. ich have expierience in perl on irix. so i was wondering, that a easy perl sript does not work. the first example of Active State : print "Hello from ActivePerl!"; named example.pl does work. but if i copy and paste this line in an empty wordpad document, save it as ex.pl it errors:
