Hi All, I was hoping that someone could send me in the right direction as to the resources that I need to complete this task - I REALLY REALLY APPRECITATE YOUR HELP!!! I ahave been reading away at Programming Perl/Perl Cookbook to no avail.
I have a script which will be launched from a Win32 Machine - the problem is that I have to connect to a Unix box which contains a directory of different files which I have to process. I am unable to work out how to connect to the Unix box and parse the directory - can anyone advise on the way to go??? I have been reading up on IO::Socket - I think that this is what I should be doing?
