Can you tell me how you installed your Crypt-RSA
package?
I got mine from here
http://theory.uwinnipeg.ca/ppms/  (5.8 perl)

On a scale of 1-10 installing & using the Crypt::
family of modules is at difficulty 9+. :)

If you installed from PPD, then its advisable to go
here
http://cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/cpan/authors/id/V/VI/VIPUL/Crypt-RSA-1.57.tar.gz

to get the latest, which will have all the test
scripts.
Not that you should install from CPAN source, but at
least you can
do some quality testing as the author intended.
see
  ./Crypt-RSA-1.57\Crypt-RSA-1.57\t

especially look at 09-publickey.t, but before you run
it open it up and comment out this line
#unlink $keyfile;

that way you can see the format of the public key once
its written. Also there is a switch for
"ASCII::Armour" -- see the synopsis.

good luck,
Mark Pryor
