I think that CPAN modules have to downloaded and (depending on the module) compiled locally using a "make" command. You could try looking at other PPM repositories for the package you need, for instance the repository at <http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/ppms/>. Otherwise I think you need to download the stuff from CPAN and follow its installation instructions Sorry I can't help you more but I'm squeezed for time ... maybe someone else can offer better advice, since I am a relative beginner at perl and its related topics.
