Try using 'Draw Mode' (DM) rather than 'String Mode' (SM) - that means using the $height = $dc->Write($text, $x, $y, $width, $height, [$format, [$tab_stop]]);
form of the Write() call.

Maybe try /r/f instead of /r/n?

I tried "\r\f" ( backslashes:-) ) with the same erroneous one-line result.
Any other ideas? So far I'm down 12 pieces of paper trying to figure this
out. In desperation, I have sent a direct e-mail to the author. I'll post a
follow-up if I get a reply. In the meantime - I'm open to any other
solutions.

Subject: Win32::Printer - Multiple Line Output

I'm trying to print multiple lines to Win32::Printer *without* using a temporary file. Everytime it mushes the data into one line with little boxes being printed where the carriage returns are. Can anyone help me out here?

##Sample Code##
use Win32::Printer;

my @array = keys %ENV;

printAlpha();

sub printAlpha {
  my $dc = new Win32::Printer(  papersize       => A4,
                                description     => 'Test Print',
unit => 'mm') or die "Failed
to
create object";
  if ($dc) {
         my $textToPrint = join("\r\n",@array);
         my $font = $dc->Font('Times New Roman', 12);
         $dc->Font($font);
         $dc->Color(0, 0, 0);
         $dc->Write($textToPrint, 10, 10);
       $dc->Close;
  }
}
__END__
