Dear Users I'm not new to perl, but new on Win32-Perl. Now, I have a strange problem and I googled a lot before I post now my question here.
If I run the following script with this: print "Sonderzeichen: äöü\n"; then i see the follow Message in a cmd-window on WinXP: Sonderzeichen: õ÷³ I hope, through all Mailsystems are this chars allright. Else, there are strange chars. I think, there is a simple way to solve this problem? I don't changed anything away from the standard-installation. "chcp" in the commandline say: codepage 850 Another strange thing is, if I edit the file with the command "edit", then I see this strange chars also in the editor. Thanks a lot for all your help and ideas...
