This is just a headsup to the list regarding an issue I'm dealing with today. There seems to be a false positive result from scanning ActivePerl 819 with AVG AntiVirus in
Perl\lib\auto\Cwd\Cwd.dll The false positive is for 'Backdoor.Generic.OME' I couldn't reproduce this by scanning 819 with AVG Free edition and the latest virus definitions from AVG, so I suspect they may have fixed the issue already. I have also scanned 819 with Norton and Sophos scanners this morning without any positive results, so I am inclined to believe this is AVG's problem.
