Hi, Earlier, I had to set 3 environment variables (HTTP_proxy, HTTP_proxy_user, and HTTP_proxy_pass) and I could access the ActiveState repository at the office through a proxy server. Of late,however, these 3 environment variables didn't seem to help. So I deleted all of them and set a new environment variable called http_proxy as under:
http_proxy=http://username:passw...@proxy ipaddress:port number I got that syntax from http://docs.activestate.com/activeperl/5.8/faq/ActivePerl-faq2.html. I am now able to access the ActiveState repository but not the other repositories like theoryx5 and trouchelle. I get a message saying that the proxy authentication failed. Is there something else that I have to do to access the other repositories through a proxy server?
