`www.openssh.org has a free ssh server for Windows, this will solve your problem I think and require minimal code change

The problem we've run into using sftp is that we need to have an sftp server running on the target machine. Management are keen on saving money, but also have the fixated paradigm that server products have to be cost money, i.e., have some company behind them for support.
