I am using Perl 5.6 on win98SE. It has been working fine but the other day I
tried to install a module from the PPM repositories. For some reason.. when
I tell PPM to "search".. nothing prints back!
I thought it might be somehow corrupted.. so I deinstalled and reinstalled
Perl.. re-configured the "set" elements to Verbose and added the
repositories. PPm will print the query results.. and when I tell it simply
"search" I do see there is lots of modem activity.. but I never see anything
on the screen.. and eventually must Control-C out of PPM.
Thoughts??
