I used to use FileSelect, quite successfully, until I switched to the new
release of Tk. The last version which worked was with Tk build in Nov99,
since then FileSelect is broken. I am waiting for someone to fix it, or
propose an alternative. FileSelect had the advantage that you could also
select a file which didn't exist, so my program would create it.

Subject: Does anyone used one of the Perl/Tk file selector packages ?

To all Perl/Tk users,

Does anyone used one of the Perl/Tk file selector packages ?

I tried to use all of them ( SaveAs.pm, FileSel.pm , FileSave.pm
...),
and with all of them I had many problems.
I didn't even manage to operate the FileSelect.pm package.
The simple example that is written in the help didn't work .

I'm using perl on win98.

Please Help.

Thanks
Limor.
