how can i install the develpment version of net-dns for perl 5.560 under
win98se.
i tried net-dns (ppm version is .12). the notes from the author says that
.13b11 should work and .12 doesnt. so can the kind nice folks at
activestate update to something that may work or at least give some kind
words on how to install this version.
i tried simply copying the lib files over to the normal site\lib\net and
thought that a mere file replacemnet would do the trick. nope. nada. some
strong complaints from perl.
what im trying to do is update bind 8.2.2 running on redhat 6.2. some of my
boxes run redhat, one runs solaris 2.7, and others with win98se. all the
boxes use dhcp and id like to get bind to store the proper ip.
