the msi settings are stored like this:
msiexec.exe /I c:\temp\ActivePerl-5.6.0.613\ActivePerl-5.6.0.613.msi /Lime 
c:\temp\installperl560613log.txt /qb-


/I= install <Filename.msi>
/LIME = <Logfilename>
/qb- = basic installation with "no" modal dialog boxes.

it works well.
