Thanks a ton! This has been very helpful -- especially the explanation of
why it occurs.

If you can't update the location (e.g. Jenda.Krynicky.cz ==>
Jenda.McCann.cz), you can comment out the whole entry (from <PACKAGE> to
</PACKAGE>) by placing <!-- --> around the definition (like in HTML).
This seems to fix e.g. CGI.pm (which I re-installed from '.' after fetching
the ppm distro from somewhere) and Active-Advice (which came from
'C:\WINNT\TEMP\_ISTMP0.DIR').

Now verify runs through. It tells me there's a new version of XML-Parser
available. I wonder whether I should upgrade -- does anyone know whether the
new version (which?) fixes the problem? I have 2,27,0,0 at the moment,
according to ppm.xml.

Oh, and it's really difficult to read ppm.xml with the last line being very
long (lots of packages all on one line), so I split at the end of tags. Much
nicer.

Cheers,
Philip
