Well, I started having weird failures in PPM for my older Perl
install, so I upgraded to build 613. Unfortunately, PPM seems
to be missing the setting for "Packages will be installed under:".
I assume this can be set using "set root DIRECTORY", but I can't
remember what the directory should be? Is it "C:\Perl",
"C:\Perl\lib", or perhaps "C:\Perl\site\lib"?

Plus, I can't seem to retrieve modules from other repositories.
I get the error:
----------------------------------------------------------------
PPM> install Win32-Daemon
Install package 'Win32-Daemon?' (y/N): y
Retrieving package 'Win32-Daemon'...
Error installing package 'Win32-Daemon': Could not locate a PPM binary
of 'Win32-Daemon' for this platform
----------------------------------------------------------------
Does this mean that every package except for the ones available
at ActiveState can't be used anymore? Or is it just because I
don't have my "root" dir set as discussed above?
