When I run ppm, I get the warning "Element 'OPTIONS' doesn't allow the
'VERBOSE' attribute. at e:\ActivePerl\site\lib\ppm.pm line 1850. It also
doesn't seem to do searches and queries, but it doesn't complain. When I
use the install command, I get an error saying, "Error installing package
...; couldn't locate PPD file for ..." where the elipsis would be replaced
with the name of the package.
