I, too, use perl2exe for distribution. Most of my "users" don't know and
don't want to know about Perl. I don't want to explain to them which
modules to install from PPM.

I have generic "build" scripts (really, they are *.bat files) that
create the executable file set and zip them into a e-mailable package.

I like perl2exe for its ability to hide Perl from my end-users.

Well clearly, you're a more industrious, serious, hard-working
person than I am.  :-)  I just tell people that if they want to
use my Perl programs, they have to have Perl.  (It's installed
on our TCP/IP network because my boss is actually a programmer
in disguise.)
